Details of the Charity:
Childreach International are a child rights charity that works on grassroots, and community led projects across 3 continents to ensure that children get the opportunity to fulfil their full potential. It is our vision that all children should have the right to live, learn and play, while happy, safe and free.
To carry out our mission we partner with local communities and NGOs on the ground to ensure sustainable, socially responsible development for these communities with the hope that at some point they will no longer need us in order to have the quality of life they deserve.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
What if I told you that this time next year you could have been part of a team that has raised over £50,000 for charity?

Every year we take over 1,000 students on bucket list adventures around the world, all while raising money for out global projects, and this year we are working with Brunel to take you up to Mount Kilimanjaro.
This trip is incredibly special, as not only do you get the trip of a lifetime, with optional safaris and Zanzibar beach time after your challenge, but you also get the chance to meet the Project Co-ordinator in country, and engage with the children that your fundraising is supporting.
You will be logging about 4 hours per week fundraising, whether that is networking, applying for sponsorship, or running events.
- Up for an adventure
Additional Benefits to the Volunteer:
- Your fundraising will cover the cost of your challenge – including flights, accommodation and meals
- Hours volunteered will be recorded on your HEAR – which goes on your permanent university record
- All hours contribute towards your Brunel Volunteers Award, which leads to an invitation to the Brunel Volunteers Awards Ceremony.
