Details of the Charity:
Disablement Association Hillingdon, known more commonly as DASH, was formed in 1984 and is a user-led charity based in Hillingdon, West London.
DASH challenges peoples perceptions and encourages disabled people of all ages to reach their full potential. We provide advice, support and activities that allow disabled people to take control of their lives and become more independent, confident and part of the community.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
DASH are looking for enthusiastic, energetic individuals to help support our coaches at our busy activity programme.
Sessions are run from our Hub in the centre of Uxbridge (Monday – Fridays, 10.30am-4pm) and in Ruislip (Sunday, 1-3.30pm).
You will support our activity leaders to ensure our users get the most out of every sessions.
From sports to music, line dancing to bingo, we cover a wide range of topics and are always open to trying new subjects if you have any particular skills.

DBS required – provided free of charge by Brunel Volunteers
