Thames Hospice is a local charity that provides expert care for those with life-limiting illnesses through our 17 bed Inpatient Unit, Community Therapy Unit and Hospice at Home service. It costs over £7 million every year to keep our vital services going. We rely on 80% of our costs from charitable donations, including in our shops, which enables us to provide our services free of charge, 365 days a year, to the people who need us.

Details of Volunteering Opportunity:

This role is located at our shop in Uxbridge or in Gerrards Cross and hours are flexible, however volunteers tend to do a 4 hour shift on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Tasks include: visual merchandising, sorting donations, preparing them for sale, serving customers on the till and the shop floor and promoting the work of Thames Hospice.
